Foreign restaurant review

  We visited to the EVEREST RESTAURANT. The restaurant sells Nepalese, Indian and Tibetan foods, like a curry, nan(Wheat flour bread cooked in clay oven), Tandoori chicken, lassi and tea.

  The restaurant is located in front of the Yeongdeungpo station. Their signboard is unnoticeable and like a fortune telling house, so it was difficult to find. The restaurant is not large. They used many spices in foods, so they are full of flavor. And there is decorated in traditional and religious things. It even felt like a foreign land.

  We ate set menu that was 2 Soups, 1 Nan, 1 Rice, Curry, half Tandoori Chicken and 2 Lassis. When we ordered the menu, waiter asked. “Which curry do you eat? There is mutton, chicken and vegetable.” We replied “mutton please.” Waiter asked again. ”Which mutton curry?” There is many kinds of curry. So we was confused. But we choose just normal curry at the top of the menu .because we were very, very hungry. But Waiter asked again. “Which nan do you eat? There are original, butter and garlic” We said “Butter Nan please.”

  They served me soup first. The soup tasted like chicken and was oily. Then main dishes came out. The Mutton curry was very fragrant and impressive. But the Butter Nan was plain. So enough to eat curry. The Mutton in the curry was a little fishy and chewy. Tandoori chicken’s color is red and smelled smoky. We thought that chicken is very hot. But chicken was not hot. And the meat was a little tough. We hurriedly ate. Lastly we drank the Lassi. Lassi is like a Yogurt. But we think Lassi is unbalanced with curry and chicken.

  We could feel the taste better. Because The interior of the place seemed real India. Even music is Indian too. Music was not too loud, but a little strange.

  The Indian waiter tried to speak Korean. She was very kind to us, and we had to wait just 10 minutes for our food. That was very very good. Because we were VERY HUNGRY.

  After meals, we felt full. We paid just 23,000 won. Price was very kind.^ _ ^

GOOD things - Price is not expensive. And matched our taste.
                        There is a lot of food.
BAD things - It is not easy to find.
                     Mutton is fishy and chewy. we was hard to eat to only mutton.

If someone who ask us, “Do you want to visit to this restaurant again?” We’ll answer that “Of course, clearly we want to visit again!!!”
